Are you wearing the right size bra? We'll show you how to find the perfect fitand size.Steps:1. Firstly, to find out what your band size is put a tape measure around your body just underneath your breasts. 2. Make sure the tape is flat across your back, and horizontal all the way around. 3. Pull it tight and read off the measurement. If it is an even number, add four. If it is an odd number add six. For example, our model in the video measures 28, an even number, so she would add four, to get band size 32. Cup size steps:1. To find out your cup size, measure around your body at the fullest part of your bust. To get an accurate measurement make sure you don’t pull it too tight. Our model measures 34. 2. Subtract the cup measurement of 34 away from the band measurement of 32 to get your cup size. If the difference is one, you are cup size A. If the difference is two, you are cup size B. If it’s three, then you are a C and so on. Tips: 1. No matter how accurately you’ve measured, or what’s on the label, you’ll still need to try on a lot of bras before you find the perfect fit. 2. Make sure you move around to see how the bra feels on your body. A useful test is to lift your arms up. If the bra stays put you are wearing the right size.3. The centre of the front of the bra should also lie flat against your breastbone – if it doesn’t try going up a cup size. You will also need to go up a cup size if you spill over the tops or sides.4. If the cup is baggy, try going down a cup size. Likewise, if the straps are digging into your shoulders or the band is riding up your back.5. The band should feel firm but there should be enough room to get two fingers under the back, and one under the front in the centre.6. Once the bra feels comfortable and you’re happy with the fit, put a tight T-shirt on and look in the mirror to make sure there aren’t any lumps and bumps.7. You bra should not be easily visible – this includes never showing the straps unless they are meant to be seen!8. Once you have your measurements and that perfect fitting bra, make sure you choose the right colour for your outfit. Nude is best under pale colours and white.9. And finally, don’t assume you will stay the same size forever. Most underwear stores have professional measurement services so make use of them!
